YOUR ONE STOP GUIDE TO DUBAI PARKS

  Dubai Parks
Several attractive parks decorate Dubai, which is stunning since Dubai has come a long way from a simple desert country to a cosmopolitan “greener” country filled with green patches suitable for weekend outings or agreeable afternoons when the weather is apposite.

  Al Wasl Park
Al Wasl park is known for being a small family park with a childrens play area and many convenient shaded areas for more relaxing siesta time. Located off Al Wasl road right behind the Iranian Hospital, its is easily accessible since its not so far from many residential areas. Entry is for free and the opening hours are between 8 am and 9:30 pm on the weekends. From Saturday to Wednesday the park is restricted to women and children.

  Al Mamzar Park
A relatively large park, Al Mamzar park covers an area of 106 hectares of pure beauty. It offers a mix of barbecue sites and private chalets for rent, a swimming pool and snack bars. A shuttle train is also part of the attraction along with a sheltered beach area and safe lagoon with many different children play areas. Piped oriental music is played all day giving a nice finicky atmosphere which can be enjoyed on the green patchy picnic areas. Al Mamzar Park is located around 5 km after the turn off point to the Hamriya Port.
The entrance is fairly priced; 5 DHS per person or 30 DHS per car since a large parking also welcomes you at the entrance. As for the swimming pool, he entrance is 10 for adults and only 5 dh for children. Opening hours are from 8 am to 10 pm daily and Wednesdays are limited to women and children only.

  Creekside Park
Known to be a very large family oriented park with many children's play areas, train, walking and jogging paths, barbecue sites, amphitheatre (which seats around 1,200 people), an information booth, an 18 hole mini golf course, 3 jetties for fishing and a few exit points for abras (boat trips that are also going to be introduced at a later date).

The entry fee is also reasonable; 5 DHS per person and opening hours are between 8 am and 10 pm daily. On Wednesdays, again, the park is restricted to woman and children only.
